The screen was small like if you were watching in a tv and the sound was too low but not horrible and lastly the quality of the movie was horrible and as my first experience
to this theatre it was kind of dissapointing
Needs renovation inside very 90s outdated but good size for potential
Brighton Odeon was… an experience.
The seats came with a very noticeable smell — somewhere between BO and baked beans (and that’s unfair on baked beans). Not exactly what you want when you’re trying to sit through a film. Luckily it was quiet in the screening so we just moved.
My Tango Ice Blast was also more water than ice, so that meant a fun little trip back out to get it remade after already settling in. Always nice to stretch your legs mid-visit.
The cinema itself is VERY dated too, which is a bit surprising for Brighton. You’d think it might have had a refresh at some point.
Overall, not the worst place ever, but definitely not what you’d expect for the price.

The place is absolutely rotten and should be condemned. Came today, got to my seat and walked straight out again. Seat was falling apart and the place stank of damp, I dont know how anyone can sit there for 2 hours

Very tired cinema that is really showing its age. The seats all need changing with many that have holes and worn out. There's no reclining seats at all here! Several of the screens seem so small that unless you sit near the front then you might as well just watch tv at home!
Stay away from SCREEN 8!!! Screen 8 is not fit for purpose. It is the smallest screen at Brighton. It has 2 large bright green fire exit signs that are even brighter than the film screen!
In the 90s this was an amazing cinema, boasting the largest screen in Sussex, and visiting was an experience. Now it feels soulless, the walls are bright white and seems to lack any character.
